Now THAT'S a sandwich!!!

My dear constituents,
With all this talk about sandwiches, I figured I would take the liberty of showing you what a REAL Dunne sandwich would look like. (There's actually four of us: you can't see Jimmy, he's lower). Of course, while I normally enjoy the company of younger women, preferably having not yet finished college or puburty, but I figure, better safe than statutory.
Ever since the Record called me on having such a boner for press releases, I've decided to work a new angle in constituent outreach: love advice. Today, we're going to talk about the Dunne Style of Seduction. Once you've found a lady you're interested in...
Keep it real,
Billiam.

- Corner her at a city council meetings (girls LOVE to be photographed)
- Chase a few interns on the side. (so she knows that you're a commodity)
- Get banned from a state agency (the ladies LOVE the badass reputation).
- Have her change her voter registration for the primary (nothing like letting her pull the lever for you!)
- Throw a temper tantrum when the two of you run into College Republicans informing voters of the previous four steps (it shows your inner child!)
- Tell her about your aspirations of being mayor; buy her dinner to get her to stop laughing.
- Impress her by "standing up" to the local College Democrats; act surprised when they call for your ouster.
Keep it real,
Billiam.

99% of Troy Thinks I'm SCUM
Of the 50,000 residents in the City of Troy I received 457 votes. Now that is a mandate. I want to thank the less than 1% of the people of Troy who (can't read the paper) voted for me.
Thanks your ignorant souls.

I am an Asswipe
Letter to the Editor
Letter attacks

To the Editor:
When a sketchy local politician calls you an ass, you know you’ve said something right.
In a previous column, I stated the only way Troy can change for the better is for its leadership to change, regardless of political affiliation. Those already in office have done little to visibly improve the quality of our city, and new ideas are needed to break the current trend of stagnation. Judging by the reaction of Councilman Bill Dunne in last week’s edition, I struck a nerve.
While Dunne states we have never met, the RPI College Democrats’ leadership and I met with him on September 21 so he might explain why we should work on his campaign. After considering his stated positions on the issues and performing our own research, we decided not to support his campaign and declined further contact.
I find it quite amazing an elected official has the time to venomously target a student writing for a small college newspaper. One might imagine Dunne would have more important things to do, such as serve constituents’ needs or otherwise perform his civic duties. However, by using his valuable time to insult the intelligence of one of his constituents in a relatively insignificant forum, he has indicated there is not a single problem left to be solved in Troy worthy of his time and efforts. If that’s the case, I see no reason for him to serve in office.
Dunne’s claims about supporting students are laughable at best. He states his support for student interests, but the only time he has stepped foot on campus has been to get help for his campaign. He states the importance of hearing student voices, but has never asked student opinion on any issue. This campus has been oblivious to Dunne’s existence before now, as he has never made any effort to communicate with us. The only time he has contacted the student body has been in self defense.
If by now he has been re-elected, there is no reason to believe Dunne will change the way our city is run. He will not become involved with the student body to discover our needs and consider our ideas, he will not make any efforts to meet with his constituents on a regular basis, and he most certainly will not suggest any dramatic changes that will bring Troy back to life. There is no reason to believe the bedrock of his campaign is anything but self-interest.
I challenge you to prove me wrong, councilman. Prove me wrong not with some written defense of your honor and tasteless attacks on my person, but with your future actions. If you want this student body to not think of you as a slimy opportunist, then you need to actually interact with this student body and take bold action to gain its support. The students on this campus want change. If you are unwilling to be an agent of this change, then you sure as hell don’t represent the RPI community.

Friends and Constituents,
My opponent's are trying to steal my race using anonymous mailings and phone calls, slandering me. None of what they are saying is true. Please read and circulate the attached to anyone you know and ask them to pass it on. I am the Republican's prime target because of my criticism of the Weed and Seed program (and the missing $100,000) and the jail expansion. For some reason these issues have hit a huge nerve. If I am voted out, we will never know the reason they are so upset. Also, call the Record and ask why my plan to combat absentee landlords was never printed. I have attached a copy of that as well. This is not the only plan I have that the papers have never printed. Why? I do not know. Call Nick Cantiello at 270-1288 and ask him.

Dunne Supports Incessant Whining, Troy Record Supports Pascarell!
It's all here.
Safe streets and dealing face-to-face with constituents and their problems are Pascarell's main concerns and that is why we are endorsing him this time for District 4 councilman. A man who speaks his mind based on what his constituents are telling him, Pascarell, running with GOP backing, won't be a rubber stamp on the council.Who knew that Dunne's boner for press releases would come back to get him like this. And with the Record against him, I'm starting to wonder if this guy's own girlfriend is even going to vote for him (the brunette, not the intern).
Bill Dunne, the incumbent, has been the lone Democratic voice in opposition to the administration. Having an opposing viewpoint is part of the democratic process, but Dunne at times seems to knee-jerk his protests. Both candidates are wary of the cost of relocating city hall to Proctor's. Dunne said a downtown business improvement district failed because the mayor did not get behind it. On balance, the district would be well-served with either man, but we believe Pascarell would better pick his spots to protest what he believes is wrong.

We spell idiot LOPORTO

"The charter is like the Bible, it changes everyday"
" We should buy one of those bubble things to find the leaks"
"Lubricate the pipes they are old and rusty"
"We need to keep the New York City Tycoons and all their money out of Troy"
" Code enforcement does a good job, they need to do their job"
Close Encounters of a 4th District Kind!
Highland Avenue, 5pm, last Friday: Two RPI College Republicans were informing the good people of district 4 how I'm banned from state buildings for my desire to photograph interns, handing out flyers with my picture. Ignorant fools. I asked them who was paying them, and what did they tell me? That they're volunteers. Can you believe it? Apathetic youngsters pounding the pavement for my opponent for FREE! What would possess them to do that? Is the guy running against some kind of pervert or something? I did the responsible thing and tore the literature off of several mailboxes. Fortunately, they didn't ask my female acquaintance if I'd photographed her yet. She changed her voter registration just to help me win the Working Families line. This could be love.
